If we are to believe the leaked details Seattle has chosen Carson Soucy from the Wild unprotected list.

The choice is/was clearly between Soucy and Kaapo Kahkonen, and many had speculated it to be Kahkonen. But if we are to believe what has been reported it appears to be Soucy heading to the Kraken.

We could only have hoped it was Victor Rask reuniting with Ron Francis, but that was a pipe dream from some fringe media members.

An exciting day for the NHL as we all welcome the 32nd franchise into the greatest league in the World.
