Yesterday afternoon we saw the NYI continue their run for the Stanley Cup in playing the ultimate team game as they defeated the defending champs 2-1. It will be interesting to see if the Lightning can make the proper adjustments in line matching 5 on 5 because they can't hope to win another series in these playoffs because of their PP. The Islanders are a disciplined group and TB won't be getting the same amount of PP like they did against Carolina and Florida.
Tonight's match up will be very similar to the one we watched yesterday when it comes to rest and playing a team for the first time this season. TB had a week off, similar to Montreal plus Vegas/MTL play each other for the first time like NYI/TB did yesterday. I wonder how the Habs will respond to playing in front of a soldout building for the first time this season. I expect the Knights to try to use the crowd to their advantage and jump on Montreal early.
Going under the total is still the way to go with unders hitting at a 34-28 clip so far! Home/road teams 35-30 so far during the playoffs.
