If you’re already missing Anaheim Ducks hockey, you don’t have to wait any longer to see a handful of players in action. The World Hockey Championships began today in Latvia and five players from the Ducks are taking part in the tournament. Here’s a list of who you can watch:
From Andorra to Zimbabwe, the #IIHFWorlds can be followed by broadcasters in over 160 countries all over the world and via stream worldwide.🌍
Representing Canada will be forwards Max Comtois and Adam Henrique. This will be Comtois’ first time at the tournament, while Henrique won Silver with Canada at the World Championships two years ago.
Two more forwards will be representing Sweden, in Isac Lundestrom and Rickard Rakell. Lundestrom has never participated in the tournament, though Rakell represented Sweden three years ago, winning Gold in what was his only other time playing in the tournament.
Anthony Stolarz rounds out the group of players, as one of three goalies for the United States. This will be his first time playing in the World Championships.
The tournament will take place over the next couple of weeks, leading up to the Gold Medal Game on June 6.
