Dominique Ducharme has just announced that Tomas Tatar will be back in the line-up tonight. As expected, it means that Michael Frolik, who was one of the emergency recalls with Caufield and Evans, will make way and go back to the taxi squad.

The coach also confirmed that Tatar would get his spot back on Danault’s left and that the line will be completed by Cole Caufield on the right. Unsurprisingly after last night, Cayden Primeau will man the net tonight and Jake Allen will be the back-up.

As for Carey Price, it was decided that he wouldn’t join the team in Toronto in the end. Ducharme said that there won’t be much skating tomorrow as opposed to the full-practice that was originally planned and that there wasn’t much of a point bringing Price out to Toronto for that. In other words, if Price sees any action before the playoffs, it will be in one of the last 2 games against the Oilers.

Tonight’s game against the Leafs is set to start at 7:00 PM. A win tonight would officially eliminate the Flames and mean that the Canucks would need to win all of their last 9 games to tie the Canadiens in the standings. Should the Canadiens grab the last playoffs spot, it appears that the playoffs might start before the season is officially over. As both the Flames and Canucks would be eliminated, they may finish their season while the playoffs start in other cities.
