We got 6 games on Friday night as head to the weekend with 2 rematches on a light night of games. Caps/Bruins and TB/Chicago highlight tonight’s games. Can Chara’s Caps win again, against his former team? Can Chicago continue to be the biggest surprise of the season? Last nights game between TB and Chicago was fast paced and incredibly entertaining with the Lightning scoring in OT with no time left!
Scenario #1 – Teams that are playing each other in back to back games, in which the home team loses the first game, the record of the home team in the second game is 40-25! Boston and Chicago fit the system tonight.
Scenario #2 – Teams playing back to back road games on consecutive nights tend to go under the total in the 2nd game. So far that trend is 15-15 when teams play on the road back to back nights. TB/Chicago fit the system tonight.
Scenario #3 - One last angle I am tracking that is slightly profitable and similar to Scenario #1, is when any team loses the first game of a back to back against the same team, regardless if it’s on the road or at home, those teams are 57-44 in that situation.

Caps/Bruins – Caps have won 2 of 3 head to head meetings this season and won 5 in a row overall. Bruins are very strong at home but are 2-5 in their last 7.
TB/Chicago – TB has won all 3 meetings this season, last night was a thriller!
Ducks/Avs – Ducks have lost 8 in a row but have split the two games head to head with Colorado, both going under the total.
Wild/Coyotes – Wild have lost their 2 against Vegas but prior to that had won 6 in a row. First meeting of the season between these two teams.
Blues/Kings – LA has won 3 of 4 meetings this season but have struggled lately losing 3 in a row, after a 6 game win streak. Blues are 9-2 on the road!
Vegas/SJ – Vegas has won 4 in a row while SJ has been so inconsistent! Vegas won the only meeting of the season between these two clubs.
