We got 6 games on tap today, mostly afternoon tilts but all 6 are rematches from the last two nights.
Scenario #1 – Teams that are playing each other in back to back games, in which the home team loses the first game, the record of the home team in the second game is 35-20! Chicago and NYI fit the system today.
Scenario #2 – Teams playing back to back road games on consecutive nights tend to go under the total in the 2nd game. So far that trend is 15-14 when teams play on the road back to back nights. 5 games fit the system tonight, all in my plays below.
Scenario #3 - One last angle I am tracking that is slightly profitable and similar to Scenario #1, is when any team loses the first game of a back to back against the same team, regardless if it’s on the road or at home, those teams are 50-35 in that situation. Boston, Buffalo, Columbus, NJ, NYI and Chicago fit the system today.

Bruins/Rangers - Noon EST – Boston has blown out the last 2 games, lets see how they respond.
Flyers/Sabres – 3PM – Back to back days of afternoon match ups with these two, both teams going in different directions.
Jackets/Preds - 3PM – Same scenario, both teams going at it in less than 24 hours.
Caps/Devils – 3PM – More back to back games of afternoon hockey in which the Caps have dominated head to head.
Pens/Isles – 5PM – Plenty of back to back afternoons of divisional rematches from the day before.
Wings/Hawks – Detroit usually loses one then wins one these 2 games series, take the Hawks.
