The Sabres have signed right winger Jack Quinn to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Quinn enters the Sabres organization at a time when the team badly needs to qualify for a Stanley Cup playoffs berth, a goal the Sabres have not achieved since 2011.

Quinn was selected by the Sabres with the eighth overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft.

My friends @PuckPedia tell me that Quinn’s base salary is $832,500with a $92,500 signing bonus.

"A" Performance Bonuses - $850K
Minors - $80K
Cap Hit - $925K
AAV - $1.775M

During the COVID-19 pandemic shortened 2019-29 OHL season, Quinn scored 52 goals and added 37 assists for the Ottawa 67's.

Quinn ranked second in the OHL with 52 goals last season, joining Alex DeBrincat, Arthur Kaliyev and Jeff Skinner as just the fourth OHL player in the past 10 years to score at least 50 goals in his draft season.

Quinn tied for the OHL lead with 34 even-strength goals and tied for eighth in the league with 89 points in 2019-20, helping the 67’s to a league-best 50-11-1 record.

It sucks that we can’t cheer for our favorite NHL players right now due to the hiatus caused by the insidious COVID19 pandemic. However, We can still cheer for NHL laundry!

The reverse retro program is an NHL-wide initiative authored by Adidas in which all 31 teams will wear throwback jerseys with a remixed color scheme. Jerseys will be worn multiple times during the upcoming season.

What better way is there to wish a milestone Happy Birthday to Gilbert Perreault, the greatest Buffalo Sabres player of all time!

Perreault, the Hall of Fame center and first overall pick from the 1970 NHL Draft, turned 70 years of age on Saturday. On Monday, morning, the Sabres debuted their new swag.

The new sweaters are modeled after the red alternate jersey introduced during the 2000-01 season and worn until Ryan Miller, Danny Briere, Chris Drury, Thomas Vanek, Jason Pominville, Derek Roy, Max Afinogenov, Marty Biron and the Sabres made popular during the 2005-06 post-lockout season.

Welcome back to the royal blue and gold swag.

I was hoping that this reverse retro gear would include the iconic crossed swords logo that is synonymous with the Sabres franchise.

The new sweaters will be accessorized by the royal blue pants with gold piping down the side as well as the white bucket.

Introducing the spanking new Buffalo Sabres reverse retro sweaters. The iconic Royal Blue and Gold colors are back with an homage to the franchise’s 51 year history.

God, I LOVE the new reverse retro tarps of the Colorado Avalanche! Hubba Hubba!

I grew up in the 1970s and 1980s and I absolute adored the iconic fleur-di-lis sweaters of the Quebec Nordiques. These new Avs sweaters are the best of all 31 teams that I have seen! WOW!
