On Markstrom....
The Demko performance may have muddied the waters a bit, but I still am hearing the plan is to sign Markstrom in Vancouver, and so far very few GMs are putting him among the many goalies who are out there and could be available. The teams I hear the most connected to Markstrom are Carolina and Edmonton.
On Nylander...
The Leafs are trying to find a place for William Nylander even though they have moved Kapanen out already. There is little doubt the Pietrangelo is their main focus at this point...The Wild and the Flyers both really like Nylander...NJ and Columbus are also outside possibilities...
On Taylor Hall...
Calgary and Montreal....but mostly Calgary...I know Arizona is making a push, but after what Hall went through being traded by Edmonton I get the impression that Taylor wants to dictate where he goes and he wants to go to Calgary...
My pick for the Vegas vs Dallas.....
The Stars are a Hell of a story, but I feel it ends here. I could see Dallas winning Game 1 with a Vegas let up after the last series, but I feel Vegas has too much and they aren’t beaten up like Colorado was.
