Every article, I try to include a poll question for readers to vote on, then review the results from the week’s polls every weekend. Here are this week’s poll results and my thoughts on how they turned out.

QUESTION: How many points do you expect from Max Jones next season?

(Votes: 40)

25-30 points: 45%
More than 30 points: 23%
20-25 points: 20%
Less than 20 points: 13%

Next season will be an important one for Jones. He has quite a bit of NHL experience now, so that can’t be an excuse for a lack of production going forward. He probably won’t be in a huge role and doesn’t have to put up huge numbers, but managing around 25 points would go a long way in showing that he’s able to produce at the NHL level.

QUESTION: Do you think Jacob Larsson will earn a permanent spot in the Ducks’ lineup next season?

(Votes: 55)

No: 44%
Yes: 40%
Maybe: 16%

Larsson hasn’t really given the Ducks a reason to keep him in the lineup yet. He’s still young, but with so many other defenders looking for a chance, I doubt he’s getting a permanent spot in the lineup for the start of the 2020-21 season.

QUESTION: Is Hampus Lindholm Anaheim’s best all-around defender?

(Votes: 54)

Yes: 91%
No: 9%

Not much of an argument here. Cam Fowler can produce more offensively but isn’t as strong defensively, while Josh Manson is strong defensively but can’t produce much offense. Lindholm can do it all and has the most well-rounded game of anyone on the Ducks’ blue line.
