The terms of the the San Jose Sharks' deal with Brinson Pasichnuk have been reported.

At the end of March, Pasichnuk had agreed to join the organization but it looks like the terms of the deal have been finalized. According to Renaud Lavoie, it'll be a two-year deal with a $925,000 AAV.

Pasichnuk has spent the last four seasons playing in the NCAA with Arizona State University, the last two of which he’s been team captain for. He had 11 goals and 37 points in 36 games this season, which was the first time he averaged more than a point per game.

I can't say I've watched Pasichnuk play, but the fact that he finished third in points amongst all NCAA defensemen this season is pretty exciting. I’d imagine Pasichnuk will start the season in the AHL, where we'll get a better look at him before really projecting what his ceiling is.

Here’s today’s poll question (results and discussion will be posted in a future article):

How do you feel about Brinson Pasichnuk joining the Sharks organization?
