Quick hit on this Saturday.

The NHL playoffs return plan allows us to look ahead to some actual hockey, and my question for you all today is always my favorite question to ask..."Who is the team that could most surprise in the playoffs?"

The wonderful part of the Stanley Cup playoffs is there is always a team or two that out performs expectations and this year, with 24 teams essentially in it, the chances that a surprise team could overtake everyone feels greater than ever...

And considering the very long lay-off the chance of predicting a winner even increases in difficulty as the playoffs are essentially happening after a full off season...making these young teams a year older and wiser....so teams like the NY Rangers and the Arizona Coyotes are teams whose young players are driving them...either could truly see huge improvements from when we last saw them playing...

Teams a little bit older, but still driven by youth...teams like Philly and Edmonton could also end up stronger in these playoffs than anyone would have guessed were this just another normal season...
