The Coyotes are involved in an actual NHL rumour, which is pretty exciting at this point.

According to multiple sources, the Coyotes are one of the finalists for Russian KHL player Alexander Barabanov.

Of course, he's more than likely going to sign with the Toronto Maple Leafs, but what can you do? Barbanov - who is 25 - scored 20 in 43 games this year in the KHL, but scored 46 in 58 last year.

According to Darren Dreger, the Coyotes have been trying to sign him for two years.

Reading reports about him, you hear things like "highly skilled" "smart player" etc. Who knows? The Leafs are interested, and they definitely have a "type" which is intelligent, skilled and overlooked due to size (this dude is 5'9).

Would be cool if the Coyotes give him, give him a week and he could even make my top 50.

Top 50:

Coming in at #42 is none other than Mikhail Boedker.

Drafted 8th overall in 2008, Boedker was a Coyotes prospect who was going to break out forever.

But he never really did.

If only the Coyotes had selected Erik Karlson, Jake Gardiner or Roman Josi instead......

Boedker's big year came in 13-14 when he scored 51 points, but then, as ever, he left you wanting more.

Boedker's 213 points in a Coyotes uniform somehow rank him tenth in franchise history, but I have penalized him heavily for being a big tease and living up to his talent.

He is also 10th all-time in games played.

(stats from quant hockey).

Walk Hard

Starring John C. Rielly, Walk Hard is the single greatest bio pic of a musical figure ever made. It simultaneously tells the story of Dewey Cox and makes fun of the ridiculous, over-the-top cliches found in all biopic movies.

It's a masterwork, and because it works on so many level - satire, musical, drama, comedy, instructional - it makes this list at #42.

Written and directed by the guy who brought you both Jumanji sequels, Walk Hard is from 2007 and includes a cameo from Ghostface Killah.

Somehow this movie lost money and was considered a bomb, which is unfortunate, because it is truly one of the best movies ever made.

It's also got Tim Meadows, Jenna Fischer, Kristen Wigg, and Chris Parnell.

Ed Helms, Martin Star, Jane Lynch - basically everyone good or funny, ever, is in this movie.

Malcom (from the middle) plays Buddy Holly for Christ' sake.

This movie also features the greatest soundtrack in film history and a solid Paul Rudd cameo.

What sets this apart from other similar movies is that a) the songs are actually fantastic and would stand alone b) the Jokes are silly and hilarious, but theres also a lot of background deep-cut jokes for super music nerds.

After writing about this movie, I feel like I should have ranked it higher.
