Quick update tonight...
On Jumbo....
When Thornton left the Bruins and was traded to the Sharks years back I honestly never could imagine that this would be a blog I would be writing in 2020... But here we are, and sources are telling me this evening that Bruins are seriously considering making a serious play for Joe Thornton...They aren't the only team interested of course...and as I have written before, te Maple Leafs is a team I really believe Joe wants to play for...
On Kovalchuk...
The Canadiens are very much on the fence right now, and the offers are on the small side..and Kovalchuk enjoys playing in Montreal a lot...and he has thrived so far...The Canadiens would have a pretty strong chance of signing him...
More in the AM...
On Kyle Palmieri...
His name is out there, and I have been writing about this possibility for a while, but the more I talk to people the less likely it feels that Palmieri will be moved...And there is no chance that Palmieri would be moved to the Islanders....that much I am confident about...
