5 coaches are gone already and we aren't even at Christmas yet...Two have been because of non-hockey stuff, but even three hockey-related firings are a ton for this time of year. Why are we seeing this? Desperate teams and disappointed team owners for sure.
So here we go with some of the latest rumors:
On Toffoli...
It appears as though Boston has moved on...they simply don't need to make a move, ao why would they. However, there are three teams who are very much weighing in and would love to add some playoff experience to their lineups.. Montreal, NY Islanders and the Preds are leading the way..
On Kreider...
The Sabres are the front runners if Chris does indeed move on...the Hawks, Jets, and Jackets are also poking around...but each would be a move closer to the deadline...The Sabres are trying to make this happen sooner.
On Pageau...
Again...three main teams: Calgary, Colorado and Chicago...The Hawks may surprise many at the deadline. They are going to be aggressive and they aren't afraid to tell people.
On Hall...
Threes are wild today...for Hall it is Calgary, Colorado, and the Isles...Nashville and Edmonton are lurking, but not nearly as serious as of today...
On Mike Hoffman...
Again..the Hawks are looking and are the favorite as of now...Vegas and the Isles are also wanting to be "kept informed."
