Record-breaking week in the KHL following leagues week-long international break with plenty of action - here is the latest editions of KHL's best of the week

The best goalie was Timur Bilyalov (Ak Bars), who had two wins in two games last week, including one shutout, and allowing only one goal. The Kazan goalie posted a saves percentage of 97.62% with a goals-against-average of 0.50 (best figures of the week). In the game against Traktor, Bilyalov broke the Russian championship record for the longest shutout streak. Moreover, Bilyalov was awarded Best Goalie honors for the second straight week.

The best defenseman was Danila Galenyuk (SKA), who won all three road games with his team last week, scoring 3 (1+2) points. The St. Petersburg blueliner posted no negative ratings, ending the week plus-5. He also recorded four hits. Last week, Galenyuk was awarded Best Rookie honors.
The best forward was Anton Lander (Lokomotiv), who won all three games with his team last week, scoring 7 (5+2) points (best numbers of the week). The Yaroslavl forward scored goals in all games, posting doubles against Salavat Yulaev and Neftekhimik. Lander posted no negative ratings, ending the week plus-5. He also recorded seven hits.

The best rookie was forward Kirill Marchenko (SKA), who won all three road games with his team last week, scoring two goals. The 19-years-old forward scored his first goal in the KHL against Amur and posted the game-winning goal in the Friday game against Kunlun Red Star. Marchenko posted no negative ratings, ending the week plus-2, and logged an average time on ice of 9 minutes and 57 seconds. He also had nine shots on goal.
