Coming off having their 10-game win streak snapped, the New York Islanders will be looking to rebound in an afternoon game today against the Florida Panthers. Here’s the pre-game report.

According to NHL.com’s Brian Compton, here are the projected lines:

FLORIDA

Jonathan Huberdeau - Aleksander Barkov - Evgenii Dadonov
Mike Hoffman - Vincent Trocheck - Brett Connolly
Frank Vatrano - Denis Malgin - Mark Pysyk
Dryden Hunt - Brian Boyle - Colton Sceviour

MacKenzie Weegar - Aaron Ekblad
Mike Matheson - Anton Stralman
Keith Yandle - Josh Brown

Sergei Bobrovsky
Sam Montembeault

NEW YORK

Anders Lee - Mathew Barzal - Josh Bailey
Anthony Beauvillier - Brock Nelson - Derick Brassard
Michael Dal Colle - Casey Cizikas - Cal Clutterbuck
Ross Johnston - Cole Bardreau - Otto Koivula

Adam Pelech - Ryan Pulock
Devon Toews - Scott Mayfield
Noah Dobson - Johnny Boychuk

Thomas Greiss
Semyon Varlamov

This will be the second meeting between the two teams this season, with the Islanders having won the first game in October via shootout. Florida will be without Noel Acciari and Jayce Hawryluk, while Sergei Bobrovsky starts in goal. Bobrovsky has struggled to start the season, carrying just an .878 save percentage and 3.50 goals against average in 13 games so far.

It looks like Nick Leddy remains out, while Otto Koivula will get into his first NHL game. It looks like he’ll be replacing Oliver Wahlstrom and while I’d certainly rather see Ross Johnston scratched than Wahlstrom, it’ll be cool to see how Koivula fits in at the highest level. Why do we always need a star rookie in the press box though? Thomas Greiss is projected to start for the Islanders.

Puck drop is at 1 p.m.
