The New York Islanders can bring their win streak to double digits tonight, as they host the Ottawa Senators. Here’s the pre-game report.

According to NHL.com’s Brian Compton, the projected lineups are:

NEW YORK

Anders Lee - Mathew Barzal - Josh Bailey
Anthony Beauvillier - Brock Nelson - Derick Brassard
Michael Dal Colle - Casey Cizikas - Cal Clutterbuck
Ross Johnston - Cole Bardreau - Oliver Wahlstrom

Adam Pelech - Ryan Pulock
Devon Toews - Scott Mayfield
Noah Dobson - Johnny Boychuk

Thomas Greiss
Semyon Varlamov

OTTAWA

Brady Tkachuk - Jean-Gabriel Pageau - Anthony Duclair
Vladislav Namestnikov - Chris Tierney - Connor Brown
Tyler Ennis - Artem Anisimov - Bobby Ryan
Nick Paul - J.C. Beaudin - Mikkel Boedker

Thomas Chabot - Nikita Zaitsev
Cody Goloubef - Ron Hainsey
Mark Borowiecki - Dylan DeMelo

Craig Anderson
Anders Nilsson

The Islanders beat the Senators just over a week ago but unfortunately it doesn’t look like Nick Leddy will be able to work his magic for a second time against Ottawa. The injuries continue to pile up for the Islanders and it looks like Leddy will be out with a lower-body injury, while Noah Dobson will shift to the left side to play with Johnny Boychuk. No changes for the forward lines and Thomas Greiss will start in net, entering the game with a 5-1 record and .933 save percentage. Otto Koivula has yet to get into action but I’m hoping he ends up getting a game before being sent down on a more long-term basis. Meanwhile, Derick Brassard will look to extend his goal streak to six games.

Ottawa will be without Logan Brown, Scott Sabourin and Colin White, while Erik Brannstrom will be scratched for the first time this season and will be in the press box alongside Filip Chlapik. I still maintain that Brannstrom should never have been brought up this early on a permanent basis, despite the opportunity he gets with a rebuilding team like the Senators. Sure, the league is getting younger and younger but let your players develop- especially the ones you’re counting on becoming key pieces of the team for years to come. Craig Anderson is expected to start.
