Jason Zucker calls out the team and the head coach following yet another Wild defeat this time at the hands of the Canadiens by the score of 4-0.

Following another dreadful exhibition put on by the Wild the team held a closed door meeting. I must say that is the first time I have heard the Wild do this since I have been writing this blog.

The comments from Zucker are spot on however he is as big of a culprit as anyone else. #16 has been a non factor all season for a guy that was nearly dealt twice, that is a bit surprising.

The team is just not that good and the worst part of that is they have a number of veterans that are past their prime to compete in today's NHL. It would be far more palatable if we were watching the kids play and they showed signs of promise yet their youthful exuberance allowed the opponent to get the better of them.

Unfortunately that isn't the case and we are watching an old Wild team going through the motions.

Time has come to elevate Luke Kunin to the number 1 center role and get all the kids more ice time. Rotate the vets out of the lineup every night sending Staal, Koivu, Parise, and Zuccarello to the press box while letting the young guys learn on the job.

Something will give soon as the patience is running thin.
