When will it all come unglued?

The record is 0 and 4 and the team has been only slightly competitive in each if the first four ganes.

The lone bright spot is the defense which has been the only source if offense the team has to show for through the first week and change of the NHL season.

Last year's key acquisition Ryan Donato has been abysmal and earned himself a press box assignment last night. Jordan Greenway has had some glimpses of being the force along the wall that he is going to be. However he is noticeably absent in front of the bet where he should absolutely be a fixture.

Eric Staal is noticeably slower and Mats Zuccarello has yet to be a factor.

The goaltending of Devan Dubnyk has been very good at times and then he springs a leak and lets a couple quick ones get by him at seemingly the wrong time.

We know the Wild were not expected to be great, however with the experienced veterans solid defense and Dubnyk in the net, they should at the very least be competitive on a nightly basis.

Bruce Boudreau is in the final year of his contract and is not the GM's choice behind the bench, so he is likely the first choice in making a change. It is not his fault and if or more likely when the axe falls on BB the official rebuild can be initiated.

The only question now is when will the first shoe fall?
