Tonight the Wild will face their division rivals to the North in Winnipeg. Always entertaining when these two teams get together.

Of course for the Wild the challenge before them is to avoid opening the season with three straight losses, all within the Central Division.

In each of the first two games the Wild offense was led primarily by their defensemen. That must change if they are going to compete on a nightly basis.

Mats Zuccarello has been terrible by his own admission through the first two games and really needs to pick it up. We need to see more of the Ryan Donato that we saw late last season when he arrived at the deadline.

The rumblings from the fans about Koivu not being such a focal point in Boudreau's offense, however he is the one guy that the head coach knows he can count on every single shift.

The Jets are big and fast however their defense is not as strong as it has been in recent years. Paul Maurice is in his own battle for job security.

Time to get the first win on the road Wild!!!
