The best goalie and rookie was Alexei Melnichuk (SKA), who won two games (the best result of the week) out of three last week while surrendering to CSKA only on SO. The 21-years-old netminder posted a saves-percentage of 94.37% with a goals-against-average of 1.30.

The best defenseman was Valery Vasilyev (Amur), who won two matches of three last week with his team, scoring 2 (2+0) points. The blueliner posted the game-winning goal in the derby against Admiral – it was Amur’s first win of the season. Vasilyev posted no negative ratings, finishing the week being plus-2. He also recorded three hits and blocked two shots from the opposition.

The best forward was Sergei Plotnikov (SKA), who won two games of three with his team, scoring 6 (2+4) points. The St. Petersburg forward posted no negative ratings, and finished the week being plus-5. Also, Plotnikov scored points in each played game. He also had 10 shots on goal, recorded 13 hits, and scored the game-winning goal against Salavat Yulaev (4-1).
