With a sigh of relief for those of us who maintain Hockey websites, it comes as good news that both the NHL and the NHLPA have ultimately decided not to reopen the current CBA.

Donald Fehr: "“While players have concerns with the current CBA, we agree with the league that working together to address those concerns is the preferred course of action instead of terminating the agreement following this season.”

This means we will enjoy NHL hockey without interruption through the 2021-22 season.
