With about a month to go before puck drop it’s the time to get yourself primed and ready for your fantasy hockey season.

To get the ball rolling I’ve put together my top 30 forwards list. I put the list together, shuffled it around a few times and made some switches based on team additions/subtractions as well as ice time and line mates. Combos are pretty big these days and you will see a few in the top 30 here. Feel free to use my list as a starter for your list and you can tweak it how you see it.

There may be a few Leafs in the list but I assure you my fantasy breakdowns are never biased. It’s all business when it comes to fantasy!

Top 30 Forwards:

1. Nikita Kucherov
2. Connor McDavid
3. Sidney Crosby
4. Leon Draisaitl
5. Nathan Mackinnon
6. Mikko Rantanen
7. Johnny Gaudreau
8. Brad Marchand
9. John Tavares
10. Patrick Kane
11. Alexander Barkov
12. Auston Matthews
13. Brayden Point
14. Mitch Marner
15. Claude Giroux
16. David Pastrnak
17. Steven Stamkos
18. Artemi Panarin
19. Tyler Seguin
20. Jack Eichel
21. Alexander Ovechkin
22. Blake Wheeler
23. Mark Scheifele
24. Taylor Hall
25. Johnathan Huberdeau
26. Sean Monahan
27. Elias Pettersson
28. Jake Guentzel
29. Sebastian Aho
30. Evgeni Malkin

Some big names in the top thirty near the bottom of the list who could have a boomer season and top 80 points. Crazy to see Malkin at the 30th spot after years of quality production. It’s not easy make a list of 30 all star players but here is my list and I hope it helps with your drafting.

Keep an eye out as next week I will be posting my top 30 defense and top 30 goalies.

Have a great weekend,
Thanks for reading.
