KHL teams bolster their rosters with two NHL free agents

Avangard Omsk coached by Bob Hartley and Lokomotiv Yaroslavl coaches by Craig MacTavish are going strong after NHL free agents to fill their import spots.

Sven Andrighetto has signed a two-year deal with Avangard squad team announced today.




Per Russian journalist Igor Eronko - Ty Rattie is headed to Lokomotiv to play in the KHL. it's expected to be a one-year deal for Rattie, to keep his options open for potential and possible NHL return in future.




Per source, neither player will have NHL out-clause.

In other news of the day - KHL's SKA St.Petersburg are expected to fire their head coach Ilya Vorobyov just days prior to the traning camps getting get underway.
