The Coyotes sale has been approved by the NHL Board of Governors.

Billionaire Alex Meruelo has purchased the team, and the sale is expected to be completed in the summer.

Outgoing majority owner Andrew Barroway will retain five percent of the team.

Pretty fun stuff! Apparently the Coyotes now have the richest individual owner in the league, and will hopefully be getting a new arena.

Everyone seems pretty optimistic, but we've been doing this every couple years since forever.

Hopefully it works out, and hopefully the Coyotes spend some big money this summer.

The rumour is Matt Duchene, but Matt Duchene isn't worth anywhere close to nine million bones.

The player the Coyotes should be courting is Artemi Panarin, he is arguably one of the top five or ten players in the NHL, and easily the most underrated of the superstars,

Panarin is to Duchene what Cap'N Crunch is to other cereals.

If there was ever an opportunity to make a splash, it would be by signing the best player available in free agency.
