Congratulations to Jason Zucker on winning the King ClancyTrophy that is in recognition of the amazing efforts that he and his wife Carly do in the community.

Jason and Carly are all about giving back, and this award allows the rest of the Hockey world to get a small taste of the man Jason is off the ice and the impact he and his wife have on the lives of so many in the Twin Cities and beyond.

All the talk around Jason has revolved around his seemingly imminent departure from the Wild. The two trades that we know that fell through nearly had Zucker taking up residence in either Calgary or Pittsburgh.

Those deals of course fell through and with July 1st quickly approaching and the expanded no movement clause set to kick in for Jason, he is likely to become a former Minnesota Wild player.

If and when that happens the team will go on and according to Carly she will remain a fixture in Minnesota, one can only ask what happens with all of the work that the Zucker's do. I am sure it will continue and possibly expand to another city as well.

We talk about trades and what we as fans want to see so often that we lose focus of the personal impact that has well beyond.

Thank you Jason and Carly for the work that you do.
