I cannot wait for September for several reasons and this team is one of them. I will be onsite for the first time ever at the KeyBank Center as the Buffalo Sabres host the Pittsburgh Penguins in their home preseason finale to personally celebrate my bachelors party with best friends.
I cannot wait to see the Beer Sabres in action and hopefully a glimpse of what the opening night roster will be for Buffalo.
As much as the Tuch departure stinks, Buffalo won the offseason in the trade market and free agent frenzy by shedding salary, acquiring prospects, and continuing to build within.
Byram and Greenway for the fourth and 45th picks and Louis Crevier was a steal by Kekalainen with the Blackhawks once again.
Added Zellweger is a sneaky addition from the trade market via Anaheim.
Locking Krebs and Benson are massive victories for the Sabres to avoid arbitration. The goaltending is more secure with the trio
of UPL, Lyon, and Ellis.
Buffalo has the widest window of contendership in the Atlantic and they were one game away from the Eastern Conference Finals. The future is so bright. Follow the Sabrehood!
