Is The Sky Falling? Quinn Hughes To Minnesota, Nemec Latest Injury For Devils (nhl News)

What a weekend this is about to be! It started Thursday with the news of Timo Meier leaving the team temporarily to be with his family (Thoughts and prayers to all in Timo's camp) followed by an absolute no show, drubbing and maybe the worst loss of the year to date. Friday morning there was more bad news, Arseniy Gritsyuk will be out for this weekend at least. Ok now its getting ridiculous...but Quinn Hughes talk is heating up! Not that he would fill any of the gaping holes on the roster, as our puck moving D is the only bright spot, but it would be the shot of adrenaline this team needs to battle through.

Nope, it's Quinnesota for the next few years at least. The wild gave up an absolute haul, one that honestly the Devils could not and arguably should not have tried to match. Im still very confident he's ours on a long term deal in 27'

Then this morning, with Jack Hughes, Brett Pesce, Timo Meier, Gritsyuk, and how can we forget Jonathan Kovacevic already out of the lineup, Simon Nemec hops on the injury bus. Another devastating blow. The minutes eating, currently blossoming d-man that has been key to the little Devil success of late, will be out for an unspecified time.

It's comical now. This is an absolutely depleted Devil's roster. If this were a stolen car in a chop shop, theyve stripped it of all valuable components. This Devils team is essentially a rusted out frame sitting on a few wobbly cinder blocks. For lack of better words, we are f***ed!

Get ready for two more embarassing losses to further ruin your weekend. If I didn't have to watch, I wouldn't. Maybe it's a good weekend for you to take the family to the mall, or see the Christmas tree in Rockafeller Center, maybe re-organize your tupperware, just don't watch this filth...Happy Holidays
