The black cloud continues to hang over the head of the Devils, and isn't going away any time soon. For several years now, it has been massive injury after massive injury in NJ and after last year's playoff casualty list I said "well, it cant get any worse than this." Well, wrong again! Jack Hughes will be out at least eight weeks after successful surgery on his finger/hand. He will be re-evaluated in six weeks. With a bunch of important regulars out of the lineup already, it's time for everyone to step up...
