Dobson left the game with a groin injury

Sooo, that game sucked. Not much positives to highlight, but here are a few things to take away:

Noah Dobson: He left the game with a groin injury before the third. St-Louis said it was not serious, but we will get the full extent in the coming days. Groin injuries are really annoying and always seem to take a long time to fully heal. Players tend to attempt to come back early from them and they linger all season. Hopefully its really minor

David Reinbacher: He also left the game early in the third and we have yet to get an update on what it is. Again when asked, St-Louis said both injuries were not serious so we shall see. Oh man...this is becoming a trend...I hope he's ok but this pretty much makes him a lock for the AHL once he is back to playing.

Goaltending: Not their best game (Monty and Fowler), but the Habs were leaking chances all game. However, they need to make a save on a couple.

Kirby Dach: His first game in about 7 months. It will take a couple more to see where he's at. His line was a -3.

The Powerplay: The PP provided two goals and looked good out there. The Habs seem to have two really good units. This is a very good thing as special teams are huge (not a big revelation)

Florian Xhekaj: I did not love the boarding penalty, but I do like that he's willing to get involved. I love this guys energy and overall nastiness, but I still give the inside track to Beck and Kapanen.

Martin St-Louis: I liked his post game comments. He said it was the first time he was dissapointed and that an effort like that is not something you want to repeat. He did mention that Matheson and Mešár had a good game when asked if there were any positives. I like that he did not respond with an old school "there was nothing good" and is still able and willing to give a legit honest response, despite being blown out.

The Habs are back in action vs the Leafs on Saturday night at 7pm in Toronto!

*Reinbacher has a broken metacarpal and is out for 4 weeks.....too bad
