=========================================================== The Islanders will try again tonight to find some consistency to their 2013/2014 season as they battle the Carolina Hurricanes in Raleigh. The Islanders are hoping to bounce back from a 6-2 drubbing at the hands if the Capitals Tuesday night.
As Islanders head coach Jack Capuano hinted post game Tuesday, the Isles will have some lineup changes tonight. Aaron Ness and Colin McDonald will be in the lineup. Rookie defenseman Matt Donovan will be a game time decision however Capuano stated that Ness will play regardless.
The question now is; who will come out of the lineup? Winger Cal Clutterbuck is a little banged up though it appears he will play. When the lineups are announced I will add them to this blog.
Also goalie Kevin Poulin will make his third start of the season. If he is able to win again following a solid performance in a 3-1 win over the Bruins Saturday, there might be a shift in net. Evgeni Nabokov has clearly struggled at times this year and if Poulin produces wins he will play more.
