Another trade deadline has come and gone, and while I expected a little bit more out of Buffalo, I can't be disappointed about everything they got in return.
Incase you missed any information or just need a refresher, here are the moves the Sabres made, including the Miller + Ott one from last week:

After trading McNabb and picks, Tim Murray said he wasn't expecting to trade draft picks.
"We need young players and the two forwards that we got, we really like their futures. We thought very highly of them." - Murray
Here is the full press conference:
The Sabres also claimed Cory Conacher off waivers, too.
"I've loved that city ever since I started playing at Canisius," Conacher said. "It's like a second home to me. They have a lot of good people in management who have helped me out and just the guys on the team have been great. I've got a lot of close friends here. They're going to be a really good team in the future."
All of that means Chris Stewart is here to stay, for now. I was a little surprised he wasn't dealt, but we'll see what he can do to finish the season. Drew Stafford, Christian Ehrhoff, Tyler Myers and Henrik Tallinder all came up in rumors, but are still here as well.
Neuvirth will likely backup Jhonas Enroth for the rest of the year. This is Enroth's biggest chance to prove what he can do and he can impact what direction the team will take from a goaltending standpoint.
He already said that it's hard to play with this team, and that's for sure, but this is his best shot. If he struggles, Neuvirth isn't a bad option at all.
The 25-year-old has put up respectable numbers, including 27 wins in 48 games in 2010-11. In 134 career games, he has a 2.67 goals against and a .910 save percentage.
As for Halak, who became the 10th player in Sabres history to be on the active roster but not play in a game.
"The last 4 days have been crazy," Halak said. "I'm glad it's over and now I'm really happy I have a chance 2 make the playoffs."
Overall, the Sabres did what they needed to do.
"The start of the rebuilding, for me, was on Friday and this was a continuation of it, but we still have a lot of building to do. I think it's a good day. The combination of the picks we've added and young players we've added, it gives us a ton of ammunition." - Murray
As always, thank you for reading!
