Thornton, Bruins, Extinguish Red Hot Subban (sabres hodgson)

The Big Bad Water Bottle Bruins handed the Montreal Canadiens a 4-2 loss on Saturday night to take a 3-2 lead in their second round series, thus setting up an elimination game.

The Bruins brought the hammer, battering the Habs early and often.

With 41.9 seconds remaining in regulation play, Bruins fourth line winger Shawn Thornton did his part to get in the head of PK Subban when he blasted the Habs D with a water bottle. Subban was none too pleased with Thornton's douche baggery. I can't say that I blame Subban. Is this men's league or is it the NHL>

Thanks, NBCSN

What a chump thing for Thornton to do.
