Well, it's official. Pat LaFontaine has been named president of hockey operations and Ted Nolan is returning as interim head coach.

This is what I call an all out rebuild, whether you like the news or not.
When the Sabres sent out the email this morning stating that they were having a major news conference, I was hoping it was something this big. I did not expect the news of either, though.
This certainly classifies as "major news".
Nolan won the Jack Adams award in his second season with Buffalo. I love both of these additions and I think it is the beginning of the end for Darcy Regier.
