The worst has been confirmed this morning, John Tavares will miss the balance of the season.
According to Art Staple and Bob Mckenzie, Tavares has MCL and meniscus damage that may need surgery. Further evaluation is needed, but don't expect to see JT on the ice until September.
So, if you didn't need a reason to give up all hope for this season already -- here it is.
We have lost our star to injury at the Olympics. THIS is why the NHL should not be included in the games. It is too costly.
