Don’t get me wrong—Teravainen has some top drawer skill and could really flourish with the right linemates and circumstances.
Meanwhile, there’s also a kind of important hockey game at the UC tonight, as the Hawks host the Stars.
6 points back of the Blues (11 games remaining) the Hawks (10 games left) appear on the outside looking in as far as catching St. Louis and capturing extended home ice in the layoffs. The immediate goal has to be maintaining or extending a three point lead on likely fist round opponent Colorado.
In their last 10 games, Dallas and Chicago both are 5-4-1. 9th today in the conference, Dallas is fighting for the playoff lives and will present a challenge tonight.
