Sonny Milano Ripping It Up At U.S. World Junior Evaluation Camp (Sonny Milano)

We don't know where Blue Jackets top prospect Sonny Milano will be playing this fall, but he's faring quite well where he's playing right now.

That, of course, is in with USA at their World Junior evaluation camp in Lake Placid.

Through six games to date, Milano is tied with Jack Eichel (projected top-2 pick next year) for the scoring lead with nine points.

What's encouraging is that, while there was one split squad game that counted towards his numbers, five of the six games were played against the likes of Sweden, Finland and Czech Republic. That's not exactly soft competition.

Milano has unquestionable skill and he may not be the best player in Columbus' system as of now, but you'd be hard pressed to find anyone with more talent.

It'll be interesting to follow his progress wherever he's playing come September. My money is on Plymouth.
