Sabres/Canes game postponed (Vanek)

Tonight's Sabres/Hurricanes game has been postponed. More information will be provided as it is made available.

The Sabres did not have a morning skate today due to the weather.

The Sabres will be sending a few more to the Olympics. Ted Nolan and Zemgus Girgensons will be on Team Latvia, while Henrik Tallinder and Jhonas Enroth will play for Sweden. Nolan and Zemgus Girgensons are on Team Latvia.

There's a story featuring Thomas Vanek on NHL.com about how he has adapted to the Islanders and how comfortable he already is. It's worth reading, but here's a bit of what he had to say:

"It's nice to feel comfortable, to call a place home, and it takes a while to get that. But as far as comfort, I'm a lot more comfortable on the ice with Johnny and Kyle. I think we've created a good trio there, which is tough to find. Usually you have one good linemate and a third guy as a complement, but the three of us are getting to know each other well." -Thomas Vanek

I meant to post this days ago, but I created another highlight video for the month of December. It's been tough to actually find some highlight clips, but December wasn't as bad as the first two months. Take a look and let me know what you think:
