The Ducks cut seven players from their roster yesterday.
Assigned to Norfolk (AHL): Joseph Cramarossa - Center/Left Wing Ryan Faragher - Goaltender Antoine Laganiere - Center Etienne Marcoux - Goaltender Nathan McIver - Defenseman Charlie Sarault - Center
Assigned to Calgary (WHL): Kenton Helgesen – Defenseman
This leaves 46 players remaining in camp.
The Ducks are 2-1 in the preseason so far. Tonight they go into Los Angeles to play the defending champion Kings. I really don't think either team is out for blood tonight, but and intra-SoCal game is always interesting. Tonight's game will be broadcast on AM 830 and starts at 7:30.
There is a question that nobody thought to ask when camp started, but I will now. Igor Bobkov has not allowed a goal in his two appearances. If he stays hot and John Gibson starts slow, and Jason Labarbera is no better, does Bobkov make the team?
I am interested in your answers.
