With twelve games on the horizon tonight we have a busy night in the NHL. Hopefully you have been keeping up to date and doing well in all of your fantasy hockey pools. I’ve heard some comments back where things are working out great with some of my advice given throughout my blogs and the comments section. Glad to hear things are working out for those who have dared to follow my advice! I’m hoping to continue to assist in guiding you to do better overall this season.

Possible Free Agents:
There are a number of players who have been putting up points, but in the last couple of weeks there have been a few stand outs from my eyes. My gut tells me that if any of these players are available as a free agent, take a shot at one of them, even if for spot duty to see if you can catch some lightening in a bottle…it happens from time to time; and it’s ever so glorious when it happens!
Michael Raffl: With 5 points and a +3 rating over the last couple of weeks of hockey Raffl has excelled and picked up his fantasy worth; perhaps someone to keep an eye on. He logs approximately 15 minutes or so a game, take a peak if you haven’t noticed him, he may be worth picking up as he’s acquired 4 goals in the last two weeks.
Sean Monahan: He may or may not be available depending how deep your league is; but he’s starting to pick up his game and some points along the way. Monahan has also picked up 5 points and a +1 rating over the last couple weeks and tallied two power play points. Calgary is looking pretty good thus far…he would be a big part of their success buy seasons end if they continue this play.
Johnny Gaudreau: Well Flames fans here you are; two gems in a row. Gaudreau is also lighting the lamp and helping light the lamp with a nice break out of 6 points over the last 14 days. He has acquired a +3 rating with a power play point and a game winner; this kid has some elite skill…grab one of these Flames if you want to fill a void.
Daniel Winnik: The Leafs have shaken up their lines over the past few games and things have worked out just peachy. Where is Winnik? The top line with Phil Kessel and Nazem Kadri, for how long is the big question. Spot duty; that’s where I have Winnik pegged…Anyone who plays with Phil Kessel puts up points; that’s just how it is.
Derick Brassard: With Stepan injured Brassard has taken the role of number one center between Nash and Marty St. Louis, he is also on the first power play unit. He has 9 points so far this season but has starting to pick up some points as of late. If you need a center; or perhaps realize that his worth is pretty good right now; grab him before someone else does.
Best of luck in your fantasy tonight,
Thanks again for reading!
