Sidney Crosby recently celebrated his 27th birthday by dangling and skating with fellow NHL stars Nathan MacKinnon and Matt Duchene. The trio recently worked out in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
I'm no orthopedic surgeon, nor do I play one on TV. However, its my humble opinion that Crosby's wrist injury is fine.
Here's proof.
Crosby injured the wrist at some point during the 2013-14 NHL season. You'll recall that Crosby was not his old offensive self at the Sochi Olympics for Team Canada. His offensive production, and lack thereof, was certainly a bone of contention for Penguins fans during Stanley Cup playoffs. There was a time earlier this summer when surgery was being considered as an option to repair the wrist ailment. No need for that now.
Sid's back to sniping goalies again.
In July, the Pens confirmed that Crosby had been receiving treatment for a wrist injury. His agent said that Crosby had opted for an injection to correct the wrist issue rather than undergoing surgery.
Sid The Kid lead the NHL in scoring during the regular season with 104 points. However, his one goal and eight points in 13 Stanley Cup Playoff games left him wide open to criticism and speculation. The Rangers blanked #87 in the final three games of the second round series against the New York Rangers. The Pens choked away a commanding three games to one series lead. Epic fail. Naturally, the proverbial fingers of blame were pointed at Crosby. The meltdown cost former head coach Dan Bylsma and former GM Ray Shero their jobs.The Rangers would advance to defeat the Montreal Canadiens in the Eastern Conference Finals. The LA Kings made short work of the Rangers in the Stanley Cup Finals.

Buffalo Sabres power forward Chris Stewart likes what he sees of his new teammates while working out in Buffalo this summer.
"I think on paper right now there's no doubt in my mind that we're a playoff-bound team," Stewart said. "We have some good players who are ready to take a step in the right direction and start leading. I think July 1st we took a big leap in the right direction and I think we'll be a team that definitely surprises some teams next year."

Summer time in God's country.
The human equivalent to needle nosed pliers, otherwise known as Brad Marchand, and the A-list matinee idol named Nathan MacKinnon were among the luminaries in a local charity shinny game. The object is simply stated: have fun, put on a show for the crowd, get a good sweat, and have a wobbly pop of two afterwards.
What could go wrong when a group of NHLers and junior players get together to raise funds for a charity?
Strange and mysterious things happen during "Shark Week".
Watch as Marchand, ever the ball buster, decides to harpoon MacKinnon while the Calder Trophy winner was in the act of taking off on a breakaway. MacKinnon torched Marchand and the bumbling Bruin decided to take matters into his own hands in order to stave off the public embarrassment of getting schooled by a sniper.

Watch as the 2104 NHL Rookie Of The Year takes exception to the stick foul-mugging and takes a poke at the bombastic Bruin.
I'm all for putting on a show for the crowd, however, what if MacKinnon would have broken his leg or suffered a concussion as a result of the Marchand jackassery?
