1:14 pm: Too tired to do a full recap, but a good game from the Isles, although it would have been better had it not had to go to overtime. Michael Grabner with the game winner, keeping his head up and finding the back of the net. Goals from Colin McDonald and Anders Lee gave the Isles the 2 - 1 lead over the Jets for all but the last five minutes of the game. Same old same old Isles. But they still won.
Jiggs McDonald is the good-luck charm for sure.
Vanek traveling with the team tonight. No new home for him as of yet, but I'm sure he was told not to get too comfortable at the hotel.
6:50pm: Thomas Vanek sits out tonight a healthy scratch while he waits for his boarding pass to somewhere to be printed. Rumor has it where ever it is -- it isn't to Anaheim.
Where can it be now??/
8 pm game will certainly be interesting tonight!

Is Travis Hamonic still angry over that hit he was suspended and lost money for? We'll see tonight.
Sorry to see you go AMac. You are a good man to your team mates and the fans.
Mangene, 24, has six points (three goals, three assists) in 51 games this season with the Adirondack Phantoms of the American Hockey League. A native of Manorville, NY, Mangene played three seasons of college hockey at the University of Maine, scoring 16 goals and 34 points in his final year with the Black Bears in 2011-12.
See the connection? Another one.
