Tyler Ennis' scored a third period power play goal, his eighth of he season, lifted the Buffalo Sabres to a 1-0 win over the Stanley Cup Champion LA Kings on Tuesday night.

Former Sabres D Robyn Regehr spoke to Kings.com about his role in he loss:
"We lost on special teams. I took a penalty in the third period. We weren’t able to kill it off. For some reason we’re struggling to score goals in here. Last year, I think we only scored one and this year we didn’t score any. So we’ve got to find a way to put the puck in the net. '
The Kings are now a .500 team over past month. They are getting little to no contributions from their stares in Anze Kopitar, Jeff Carter, Marian Gaborik, Dustin Brown and more. The Kings were stymied by an inspired, defensive0minded Sabres team that was backstopped by the heroics of Jhonas Enroth who made 34 saves for his first shutout of the season. Enroth now has four career NHL shutouts.
Don't ask me how, but the Sabres are now 1-11-1-1 in its last 14 games against Los Angeles.
At the lonely end of the rink, Jonathan Quick had a shutout streak of 119 minutes, 54 seconds against Buffalo snapped by Ennis. Quick shutout Buffalo on October 23 in Los Angeles.
The win allowed the Sabres to put the brakes on their two-game losing streak and won their third straight at home. The defending champion Kings lost consecutive games for the fourth time this season.
