Penguins coach Mike Johnston spoke to the media today and revealed some information about Penguins defenseman Olli Maatta
#Pens Olli Maatta at Southpointe today for workout. May get on the ice this week, per Coach Johnston

Less than a week after having surgery to remove a potentially cancerous tumor the kid is already back at it. The initial report had Maatta missing four weeks of game action but if he potentially hitting the ice a week after surgery is there a chance he can return earlier?
The Canadiens sent Rene Bourque down to the AHL after he cleared waivers. Don't get any ideas as the Penguins should be pursuing better options to upgrade their forward depth.
Really proud of my dad for making the Finnish Hockey Hall of Fame. Good job papps! #24

— Christian Ehrhoff (@TheRealHoff10) November 10, 2014Things aren't just going well on the home front, he is keeping pucks out of the Penguins net while being in a shutdown role.
Christian Ehrhoff has been on the ice for 10 even strength goals scored and only two even-strength goals against through the season thus far
