With the loss of Johan Sundstrom the Islanders had no choice but to dip into the Bridgeport pool again. This time they come up with Justin Johnson, recalled on emergency basis.
Johnson, a 32-year-old, 6'1" RW from Anchorage, Alaska has played 48 games with the Sound Tigers and has five points. He will make his NHL debut tonight. Jack is trying to plug a sinking boat here folks.
On the other end of the ice, it does not look like Marty Broduer will be in net tonight for the Devils. ***SURPRISE! At 5:34 pm, TGFireandIce announced that Broduer will INDEED play tonight's game after not taking practice this morning.
