The Blackhawks were reminded of their own mortality Tuesday night, falling behind to Dallas on home ice 3-0 before finally losing a close 4-3 decision to the Stars.
The Wild, also, are a team that's given the Hawks problems this year, though the last time the two teams met, in St. Paul, the hawks turned in one of their better performances of a very solid season thus far, dispatching the Wild with relative ease.
I would look for the Hawks to be on their game tonight. But with Brandon Pirri back in Rockford and Michal Handzus in sick bay, the Hawks could be a little challenged at center tonight. Recently recalled Joakim Nordstrom takes over for the injured Andrew Shaw on the 3rd line.
