The plains of Southern Manitoba could not be a more welcome sight to a Hawk club that’s coming off a painful 5-1 loss Tuesday night to the upstart Colorado Avalanche.
The Winnipeg Jets, tonight’s opponent, have thus far been easy pickings for the Hawks. Further, there’s scuttlebutt that first line RW Marian Hossa, nursing a lower body injury the last week or so, will play tonight.
Over their last ten games, Chicago is 7-2-1, Winnipeg 5-4-1. The Blackhawks are 8th in the league on the power play, 29th on the penalty kill. The Jets, 29th and 15th respectively.
