First, a huge mea culpa.
Yes, as of yesterday, my brain was stuck in 2013—and my playoff scenarios were a bit incorrectly skewed. Thanks to a few loyal readers—and a snarky one—I am fully in the present.
On to tonight's game:
Chicago Blackhawks (43-19-15) at Columbus Blue Jackets (39-30-7) CSN-CH, FS-O
THE BUZZ
What was once a fairly certain two points when the Blackhawks roll into Columbus, tonight's matchup is anything but easy. Fighting for a playoff spot in the East, the Blue Jackets will pose a stiff test, especially with a depleted Chicago roster. Over their last ten games, Chicago and Columbus are both 5-4-1.
However the Hawks pulled off a nice 3-2 shootout win over the Wild last night in Chicago, made necessary only by a late, soft goal given up by Corey Crawford.
