A 3-0 shutout loss is not exactly how you want to end the year, but it is certainly one Ted Nolan can leave behind as we all look ahead to 2014.
This game wasn't one of Buffalo's best. I was cutting the NHL highlights for the Hurricanes/Canadiens game and that was a very entertaining matchup. The Hurricanes stormed back from three goals down in the 3rd period and ended up winning in overtime.
