What to watch:
1) The team that loses will be the real winner tonight. Based off the lineup I'd say Buffalo is the lesser team, but they have as many wins as New Jersey and have played one less game. As of now the Devils would pick 4th overall, but a regulation loss tonight would put the Sabres two points back of New Jersey and they'd still have a game in hand.
2) Adam Larsson has been logging a ton of ice of late, and has looked pretty good in the process. The Devils aren't making the playoffs, so seeing progress from their kids is about all anyone can hope for.
3) New Jersey's penalty kill has been better of late, but overall it hasn't been good this season. Playing Buffalo's sub 10% PP will be a good chance for them to boost those numbers.
